iPod touch Filezilla error

i am trying to connect my ipod with filezilla and now it says error: fatal: and something like it cant connect, anyone know what i can do?

dont use filezilla, it doesnt work as well as winscp. just google winscp and download it

i have a connection error with every FTP i try. is there a way to fix this?
it says connection timed out
couldnt connect to server.
