Hello. i am new at this forum, i have just successfully jail broken my i pod and was wondering if anyone knows of any tutorials that give good, simpol ways to add maps.app, mail.app, and weather.app. I have searched the forum for about 2 hours and could not turn up anything.

I don't know of any tutorials but get the iphone 1.1.1 files and do this:

MobileMail.app goes in /Applications/
MobileMailSettings.bundle goes in /System/Library/PreferenceBundles/
and run this cmd in ssh " chmod -R a+x /Applications/* "

I know that part but i dont see how i should get into the ipod. right now i am installing the BSD subsytems to install the SSH client so i can SSH into the ipod. Is that how i do it?
