Iphone apps won't work

i've dragged and dropped those 2 folders filled with apps into the correct folders in my ipod. the icons are showing up on my ipod touch...but when tapped..it freezes then when i press home..it takes about 10 seconds for it to go back to the home screen
i used windows winscp

you probably didnt follow all of the instructions, in winscp hold CTRL and T a window should pop up an load and in the command box enter chmod -R a+x /Applications/* then it should work
