jabber.freenet.de MSN transport down?

This isn't strictly a problem with Mac hardware or software, but I and I know many others use the jabber.freenet.de jabber server to connect to MSN through iChat via. it's MSN Transport service.

Only for the past week or so, it hasn't been working at all. I got onto Psi and checked the service directory, and there is no MSN Transport function present any more.

Is this temporary down time or are we screwed?
 
it's been down completely. their pop-up was also saying yahoo and aim services were also down to provide a better jabber service.

I am now looking for a new jabber server. currently I am going with njs.netlab.cz, but it has no file transfer support. I'd be pleased if you write your server recommendations..

a server that shows nicknames, supports unlimited file transfer, stable..etc.

For servers in Europe I would recommend checking out jabber.no or jabber.me.uk. Jabber.no has quick answers in case of problems on the admin's blog, and there's also info on jabber.me.uk online. Hope this helps.
