CD's not reading...

Hey I have a macbook c2d and it won't read certain CD's such as three inches of blood and the new kanye west cd. But it works on all dvd's and every other CD I have tried. Not to mention I just uploaded John Mayer. It will spin up then slow down like 3-4 times then just eject can someone give me a hand?

That happened to me once with my MBP, try that cd on another computer it might be a faulty cd.

it works on my grandparents ancient dell and my CD player.
