Customize app not working

i just installed customize app and when i open it it immediately crashes, i have yet to do the ssh chmod thingies that ive read about, is that what i need to do, all my other apps work seamlessly what do i needa do to get customize to work? THANKS

try opening it 4-5 times and restart you ipod, it crashed a few times when i first installed it. there have several threads on this issue, use the search.
also make sure you have the newest version at apptapp.com/summerboard

also, that app only lets you change the strings and not anything else
doesnt really work that well

wait for the new release
