View Full Version : Finally, An iPhone Minus The Phone

I don't know about you guys, but I've been so happy with any type of technology item until now. Friday afternoon I took the plunge and Jailbroke my iPod touch. After hours of thinking about it, I went ahead and did it. The process was so much fun, seeing what was inside the iPod and how it ticked. Now I have the one thing I've been waiting for in a long time, the iPhone apps. Those 4 little apps made me love my iPod and soon, I did Summerboard and then changed the icons around, downloaded Installer.app and put the NES on it. I even arranged the icons so it looks like the iPhone's layout. I finally have a device that I don't have to spend $400+ plus after I buy the phone just to keep it from not being a paperweight.

Cheers to the iPod touch! And the the art of not following Apple's wishes!

Umm, that's Time Machine in Mac OS 10.5 also known as Leopard..

I've been debating between the iPhone and the touch...but I still don't know. Is there anyway on the touch to know when you are in area with wi-fi?

trust me, I have Vista on my computer and its not all that bad (In other words, I've been blue-screened of death free for 49 days:D) But seriously, I like the icons i have other themes too, such as Finder and Leopard. So I guess I can say I'm a Boot Camp Type of Man

There is actually a 3rd Party App off Installer.App that shows you the different signal strengths, names, and so on and so forth. Or you could just look under the Settings menu.

Yeah, being used for the Safari icon...

Just because you copy icons doesn't make the whole thing look as good and authentic. Read my signature...

There is a WiFi icon on the top left. It gives you the signal strength.

Nice quote I must say, but yeah I can see where you say that it's not really Mac OS X genuine, if that can be used as a term. But hey, all that matters is that it looks good.:D
