Hi. Dell has the 3007WFP-HC monitor for sale now and I'm very interested in buying it. This monitor has been around since march. When they go on sale like this, specially at this time of the year (pre-holiday), does it mean that they are gonna replace the model soon? Does anyone know if there's a new release on it's way soon? Thanks.

The 2008 models are slated for release sometime this year but that doesn't stop this from being an excellent and aggressively priced monitor. I say go for it.

It's a helluva good screen - not quite in the same league as the Apple 30", but damned close. Personally I'd jump at it - the new one is due out pretty shortly, but it'll probably be more expensive and I very much doubt it'll be better.
