Need some ideas for ipod speaker setup..

I have a nano that I want to kept charged (gym use)

I have a bedroom with no music =(

I know I can get a ipod dock speaker thing but I need speakers that are removable and powerful since:
A. My only power source is in the closet. (gonna run the speakers)
B. I need to hear it in the room and the adjoining shower.
C. Would like some decent bass

I have a dock and it has an (out) plug so what do you guy recommend for using that dock with?

Well you could get a computer set up and just use that, or you could go with a set of monitors.

I personally like the monitors, I have a set of maudio bx4's. Sound great, but not too heavy on the base.

For the ultimate set up, check out audioengines. Awesome set, but 400 bucks.
