Do you have applecare? or a warranty? Just restore it so no hacks or anything, and then use warranty to replace it.

EDIT: Stupid me, didn't even realize it was a joke/trick.

Hilarious. I guess it's a warning for all the rest of the iPod/iPhone users out there, don't use mspaint on your screen! Results in deep, big gashes!

I don't see anything. mine has a gash too. on the screen and the aluminum bezel. small gashes. you could live with it...it's bound to happen eventually anyways unless you are SUPER careful all the time.
