iPod touch Video Playback Problem

I had to re-jailbreak my ipod and now it's telling me the video format is not supported in youtube and videos synced from itunes. I've tried changing permissions, syncing in itunes and turning it off and on. nothing helps. so...will i have to re-jailbreak again? :(
