I just got a nasty virus on Windows, and need to remove that entire partition.

I know that usually boot camp assistant would have been used to remove my windows partition, however it's expired since Leopard is coming out soon. Without Boot Camp Assistant, how do I safely remove my windows Boot Camp partition?

Thanks for the help.

You can erase the partition using Disk Utility. I'm a little unsure if it's NTFS though.

If you're going to buy Leopard you might as well wait for it unless you need Windows usage immediately.

Your Windows install CD should be bootable...just boot off the CD and blow away the contents of the partition (i.e., reformat it), then reinstall Windows. And then invest in some decent antivirus software! ;)

Hi JLatte

You can read this tutorial to open/enable the bootcamp so you can remove your partition:
