Jailbroken ipod on speakers?

hey guys so my jailbroken ipod has been great so far in evrything but today when I put it in this system that can play music in different roms through speakers it wouldn't show up on the thing that I play it with, its a crestron system to play music in different rooms through speakers, is there a way to fix that or will I just have to live without that capability?
