Personally, I don't care what you're political issues are, nothing deserves being nasty about it.....morons.

I have to disagree a bit... I can think of several politicians who deserve a lot worse than an egging (but that would be a good start...). However, Arnold isn't on my egg list ;) despite the fact that I disagree with his politics.

I don't agree with Arnold nor do I hope that he will be elected governor, but I am impressed that he took the egging in stride so well. Most politicians get in hissy fits over such things, but he handled the situation maturely by responding with a joke and acknowledging the person's right to freedom of expression.

Dangerous wieners usually are, especially when it's done in public (Anita Bryant, hit with a pie, Bill Gates, hit with a pie). His reaction was as expected, and does nothing to engender sympathy from me towards he or his platform.

I didn't realize Arnold had asked you to engender with him. I thought he was married.

Getting it On with Arnold
_
The gubernatorial candidate says he’ll have group sex with the entire state
Sept. 2 — _After refusing to answer questions about a 1977 interview in Oui magazine in which he admitted to having group sex, California gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger reversed course today, promising to have sex with the entire state of California if he is elected.
INSTEAD OF ending a speech in Fresno with one of his oft-used catchphrases—”Hasta la vista, baby” or “I’ll be back”—Mr. Schwarzenegger closed his address by saying, “California: I’m going to sex you up.”
Schwarzenegger’s new emphasis on group sex may reflect a failure of the former action hero’s anti-tax message to gain traction with California voters.
But the shift in focus may also be a calculated attempt on the part of the Schwarzenegger team to halt the surge of porn star Mary Carey in the gubernatorial polls.
While Ms. Carey has not offered to have sex with the entire state as part of her campaign for California’s highest office, Mr. Schwarzenegger’s advisors have been steadily urging him to outflank the porn star on the group sex issue.
In addition to crisscrossing the state to spread his group sex message, between now and Election Day Mr. Schwarzenegger is expected to sharpen his appeal to a key segment of California voters: idiots.
Recent polls show Mr. Schwarzenegger leading, albeit by a slim margin, among California’s idiots, many of whom also support pundit Arianna Huffington and former sitcom star Gary Coleman.
“If past California elections are any guide, idiots will decide this race,” an aide to Mr. Schwarzenegger said today.
(It's a joke people!)

You kidding? Bill practically had a seizure! Looks like he had a momentary lapse to his times being stuffed into lockers.

My favorite part about the picture is that everybody but Arnie is freaking a bit. I especially like the look on the red-haired guy - the one who received the egg-ricoche. Screams "Holy Sh**! What the hell just happened?"

That is quite a cowardly act, to put a egg on someone's shoulder from the back. It is sad that some people just haven't learned to growup!

Agreed. Is this what politics is coming to? Next thing you know we'll have politicians openly insulting each other on the floor of the house..... oh wait.
Seriously, what a stupid thing to do.
Wish I'd thought of it.

Or maybe dueling, or beating each other with blunt objects on the floor of Congress. Oh wait, that's been done too....

This is pretty tame compared to the past in american politics.
In the time of the founding fathers it was almost ritual to throw tomatos and other assorted vegetables at politicians you didn't like.

there is allways 1 idiot out there somewhere, Arnold showed how cool he is by the way he handled it. He never lost stride or step and continued to greet voters as if nothing had happened even while removing his coat. Special Interest in california are pissed i mean the democrats & republicans! sorry bunch

Not only is it a stupid and cowardly act on the part of the idiot who threw the egg it also helped Arnold! On a day he should of been answering questions about why he wouldn't participate in the debate he gets to look like the put upon poor guy with a stiff upper lip!
