just got my 1st iPod, a 3G 15GB. i will be using it with my TiBook. Obviously, i will be using it for music but another part of the reason i bought it it to use Apple's iCal and Address book so I can essentially have the iPod replace my Palm, which I only use basically to look up addresses and for reminders/calendaring.
I was wondering if people have reccomendations for any iPod software from 3rd party vendors that you would consider "must have"
thanx:)

Unfortunately, ther is NO 3rd party support for the iPod. Why? Apple has not put out an SDK for it. Hopefully soon though, but I doubt it.

the only real software i would use is stuff that would allow you to copy songs from a pod onto a computer...
which there are tons of apps that do that.. not sure which i'd recommend as i've never used a great one, and i've never used the same one twice..
what else did you have in mind?
