Does anybody know wether or not Leopard will ship with both the Intel and PPC versions in the same package, or if they will be separate. Considering I don't see anything about selecting a platform on the order page, I'll bet that both disks are included. But I could see the single-user being single platform, while the family pack is multi-platform.

Anyway, just looking for an answer.

I'm glad to hear they are still making it available for PPC machines. Do you know if there will be any differences between functionality on PPC and Intel Macs?

I ask because we've had recent bad luck with this kind of thing - my partner bought Adobe CS3, but half the programs in the suite didn;t work on his Powerbook because they required an Intel processor - so we had to go out and buy a new Mac Mini just to run Adobe!

I think just the movie back drop effects in iChat AV are Intel only.

Other than that, it'll be the same.

Regarding CS 3, most apps do work on the PPC:
Ae, Dw, Fw, Fl, Ai, Id, Ps all work on my G5.

Universal DVD 2 Binaries

Hello
The Leo installer DVD includes both PowerPC and Intel Binaries, they are different, but they are on the Same DVD, that is why it is Dual Layer, it contains the Operating System in Both Binaries.
