Yes it's excellent deal but if you buy that unit in Fry's retail stores, it'll be a different price ..

OK, I should have said frys.com . Their offline stores don't usually match their online prices.

By the way, Costco.com has a deal on a 750GB Seagate USB/Firewire/eSATA for $199. It might be worth the extra $20 for eSATA, but it is more of a future proofing.

I may have to go down to Costco to buy my external drive rather then buy it off Apple with their $139 special.
