I have not seen this on the forum yet, so I thought I would throw it out there.
What apps are we gonna get with the next update to the iPhone software?
What should be added?
When are we gonna get it? Leopard have anything to do with it??
I have a few that should be added.
1. landscape view for e-mail-- including keyboard
2. more options for locking, ie: more time choices.
3. lets get intelligent phone number highlighing in web and mail apps.
4. bluetoothing like any other phone.
APPLE FOREVER!!!!!

#4 is the only item on your list that excites me, but it excites me enough for a whole list.
I wish I could tether my laptop to the net through my iPhone like I used to do with the Nokia it replaced.

What apps are we gonna get? None. Next update will be mostly behind the scenes bug fixing, and maybe one or two minor bones tossed our way...like the Leopard notes/iPhone thing.
What should we get? Go to any of the threads on the forum that have "what I/you want" and you'll find probably a good twenty or so items.
When.....with the notes thing I'm guessing we'll see it probably within 1-2 weeks after Leopard drops.

About damn time for multimedia messaging (and not email attachments, lame!). I can't even view a received MMS b/c Safari doesn't support Flash.
Gaping hole in the feature set right here.

It would be nice if leopard's "data detectors" were incorporated into the iPhone, giving it cut/copy/paste functionality as well.
SMS to multiple recipients would also be well appreciated :)

Before any features they need to fix the "negative black," issue.

I assume you dont have a phone with the problem. Go use one that has this issue, he's not being picky, the screen is horrible.

You guys kill me getting your hopes up like this everytime someone adds a digit the to the rev number. Don't expect crap except for a fix to the tiff vulnerability that allowed us to get installer.app back on our phones. I don't plan on applying this update. I don't care at all about new language support, and I've already fixed the tiff bug by hacking my phone.

apple will have to add something worth upgrading for, or people will not upgrade. they must add IM, flash, mms, or copy paste or people who hacked will not upgrade. i certainly wont unless this update includes at least one or two of those features.
