Hey everyone...well, after 3 years of having a PC where before I was a Mac user exclusively it's time for me to go back to where I came from. Right now, sitting somewhere back home, is a very old G3 tower with a 15inch monitor that uses that plug (techincal term) that only connects to older Macs. Is there any way that I can get something to convert that monitor to work on a G5? I can configure a G5 at the Apple Edu store that I want at fairly the same price as the 17inch iMac, but of course without a monitor. So is it possible? I know it won't look so hot, but is it possible? Thanks in advance!

I would think so:
Included with the G5 package is a DVI to VGA adapter. Here (http://www.macconsultants.com/Display_adapters.asp) you can find adapters to connect the "older" Macintosh monitors to a VGA connector.
So you get 2 adapters connected to the DVI of the G5.
