iPod files to Computer

ok well I want to access my files such as music, videos, and photos and import to my iTunes library, how do I do this. Question 2, my settings on touch are that it opens itunes and syncs my library, since I got a blank library on my comp, it'll delete my files, how do I get around this?

With regular iPods you can't get the music from the iPod into iTunes, I would assume iPod Touch is the same. It was done that way to prevent people from sharing music with others.

How did you get the songs onto your iPod without first syncing with iTunes? Hmm.......;)

I'm pretty sure you can change the iTunes settings so that it doesn't sync.

i am using the touch and as we know it ha sno disc mode, so how am i sopposed to access my files on it, and as for changing the itunes setting, how do i do it without attaching the touch, cause when i attach it, itll automatically sync and delete my songs cause my library on itunes is blank.

simple, plug it in and the moment the screen comes up that says "Sync In Progress" go to the bottom of the screen, and slide the "Slide To Cancel" slide bar. Then, go in and do what ever you want to your settings.

Im getin an Ipod Touch for christmas..and its my first ipod!
In order to get vidoes and music on to the device..will i have to buy of iTunes etc or can i download of limewrie or bearshare and upoload that way.

If so ..how can i download songs of my computer and on to the Touch!?

You'll need to download iTunes onto your machine (Mac and PC versions available here (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/)). Check to make sure your computer is compatible w/the version of iTunes required to talk to the Touch.

You can still download tracks from Limewire or wherever. You'll need to import them into iTunes first though in order to put them on the Touch.
