thinking about finder selection....

i just thought..

wouldn't it be not just cooler but even more efficient to work with a kind of lasso-tool (photoshop-style) to select stuff in finder and let go of that rectangle-selection thing?

or let the user choose:
o rectangle
o lasso
o magic-wand :)
o ...
in the system-prefs

The magic wand would be a good tool. Instead of entering a tolerance number, you could enter a file name pattern.
