Hi!
I have configured my 24" with a Spyder2 Express. I think the result is a bit to yellow, but maybe its just because Im used to the Adobe RGB profile? (I had to change the filename to spyder2express.pdf to be able to upload it, so just change it back to .icc)

Yes that definitely looks yellowish. But it is difficult to calibrate the iMac with the spyder as there is a gap between the glass and the screen which can reflect outside light and thus irritating the spyder. The only solution to that is to take of the glass AND go into a room without any outside light..
That is the profile I am currently using which looks kind of close to my ACD. It is calibrated by my eye, not spyder or so. Still the grey points look a bit off.

Ok, thanks! I guess I should know this after all these years of using a Mac, but how can I use your profile? I have copied it into the correct folder, but it doesnt show up in system preferences...

I guess you know that you should rename the extension to icc. In my case the profile is located in /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays .
When you put it there, you should at least close the dialog and open it again. At least that is what I did with your profile. On the other hand it is not so much time to do the calibration by hand, which is what I did. (I do not have a spyder or whatsoever.) You might also need to uncheck the "Show profiles for this display only" checkbox.

Here's mine. Done with a Pantone huey. Didn't seem to have the .icc extension. I added the .pdf extension anyway.
