I don't see the install file listed anywhere...including this site. I only see a version for pre-1.1.1 phones but everyone is saying v3.0b of AppTap is designed for 1.1.1

Suggestions?

You currently can't get it off the web, you have to download it from your current version of Installer.app on your phone.

yeah, well how could I possibly do that if I can't even download the old version because I am running 1.1.1?

You have to ssh the old app onto your phone (to the applications folder). If you are uncomfortable with what I said, download independence (code.google.com/independence) and drag the installer.app to the applications folder. iN will do the rest.
Not sure where installer.app is? Right-click on the installer, show package contents>Contents>Resources>installer.app.

Yeah, I'm fine with using iNdependence...

BUT will the old app work on an unlocked 1.1.1?

The website says:

This does not work with iPod Touch or iPhone firmware 1.1.1 at this time. However you can downgrade an iPhone by following the instructions here

I don't want to downgrade

I don't want to brick my phone

SO what should I do?

Thanks!
