what happens if i just buy an iphone in the uk on the 9th for 249 is there anyway i can put my t-mobile or o2 chip in it and it working
 
ou could put an o2 sim in it but you would need to activate it in iTunes. The T-Mobile one would't work with that, but it would if you bought the Orange unlocked version from France.

you have to take one of the tariffs on offer. if you fail to credit check there MAY be another option for pre pay. but that's speculation based on the at&t experience.

otherwise, the only other option is to hack the phone.
