hey guys
im not a crack and im totaly suprised my iPhone with 04.01.13_G firmware is working in switzerland.
after buying the iPhone in nyc on oct, 18th i ulocked it followint the steps on this webpage: http://iphone.unlock.no/ after this i insert my orange (swiss carrier) sim card and it worked perfectly i could make phonecalls to several countries sms etc..
according to this website http://www.iphonegoboom.com/firmware/firmware.html its not possible to do what i did. also this diagramm (http://www.everythingiphone.com/forum/iphone-modifications/before-buying-iphone-read-this-first-13674.html) tells me that its not possible to use it as a phone. see the middle box on the right.
quote "If it is running firmware version 04.02.04_G or 04.01.13_G, the device has the updated 1.1.1 firmware revision and cannot be jailbroken to allow third-party application installation nor unlocked."
now can anybody please tell me what hapend?
