Hi, i'm fairly new to the mac and had a quick question,

I currently use hotmail as my mail (my address is ********@hotmail.com) and use msn messenger as my IM client.

I was wondering if it's possible to use iChat/Adress Book/Mail with this address, also all of my friends also have hotmail addresses and use msn messenger.

Is there anyway to use these apps with my current address, thanks!

I suggest Adium X (http://adiumx.com/) for MSN support and Address Book integration.

I second Adium. Best multi-chat program for OSX (at the moment).

well if i changed to aol would i still be able to chat with my hotmail friends in iChat?

yeah but i wanna use iChat/mail cuz the new features in leopard for iChat look amazing

I believe that for the chat to work like the tour brags, both of you must have Leopard and use iChat.

Those new features don't amount to much unless your friends are using Leopard too.

so basically u can't use iChat unless ur on aol or .mac and all of ur contacts are on aol or .mac???

so basically u can't use iChat unless ur on aol or .mac and all of ur contacts are on aol or .mac???I'm not going to entertain the thought of Jabber since the features wouldn't be there.
