Mounting An Image On iPod

Hello, I've been searching the forums regarding this issue but I can't find any answer so I'll have to create a topic instead.

I'm just wondering if there's a possibility to make the iPod act as a CD or even a DVD when mounted? For example, installing Leopard from an iPod instead of a DVD?

To store files on it, select the checkbox that says "enable disk use" in the iPod Summary page in itunes. The ipod icon will remain on your desktop even after it's done updating so you can drag files onto it to use as an external drive.
