CRAP! forgot to use student discount!

anyone ever done this? bought at apple retail store? i was so excited that i forgot to use my student discount on my new 24" iMac...

havent opened it yet, do you think i will have to return and rebuy, or will they credit me the difference?

just want to know cuz i realllly want to open it up tongiht

you have 14 days to return. if opened you may have a restok fee which would wipe out the student discount pretty much

They'll probably handle the paperwork as a return+rebuy and refund the difference; but they might be willing to do it on the phone -- without forcing you to drag everything back to the store.

Yeah I'd ask if you can just bring the receipt and your Education ID. Make sure you do it soon though.

MAN, i LOVE this beast

perfect so far, and man i can throw my speakers away these internals are awesome!

i took my 2gigs of ram out of my MBP and put them in the imac, and put the 1gig in my MBP since i will now do all my image/video editing on my iMac

maybe even sell my mbp if these new MB's come out soon ....

... i need to be studying but damn, im loving this huge thing

lol are you kidding? The internals were awful to me... I bought the speakers before the mac lol funny I live in Elk Grove also... wow small world..
