i'm having trouble connecting my macbook to my new philips television ( Philips 42PFP5532d) I'm using a DVI to HDMI cable, with the apple adaptor, my macbook detects the television but the television says theres no input signal, now ive tried my 24" iMac aswell and that works fine, the television detects the imac perfectly, i have the exact same settings on the imac as i do on the macbook for displays, relsolution etc but no joy. I have also tried connecting my macbook to my older LG plasma via a DVI to DVI cable which also works fine, so the macbook isnt buggered. now im stuck, ran out of idea's. can anyone help?

Cheers

Chris
