Leopard and iLife '08

On disk 1, there's a "Install bundled software only" option when you pop it in. Your current iLife version, with the rest of the non-OS-X software that your Mac came with, will probably be there.

just burn the apps you want onto a DVD. Install Leopard, then reload the apps from the burned DVD. This woks with iLife 06, but not with 08.

Well. I haven't seen this asked yet.
I bought my Macbook in September. It had iLife '08 already installed. When I upgrade to Leopard will I still have my iLife '08?

Are you just doing a plain ole 'upgrade?" If so, it should be fine!!
No matter what though, you can always use the disks that came with your Mac Book to reinstall iLife only. Just insert disk 1 when your computer is on, and click "install additional software," or something like that and then select iLife only.
I was wanting to do a complete erase and install. I haven't put much on my Macbook at all because I knew Leopard was coming soon. I'm torn as to which is the better way to go, erase everything or just upgrade. What do you think?
Also, with the discs that came with my Macbook. Can I later install any program that came with it should I delete that program?

Well, your Mac is still young too, less has built up, so a clean install is going to give even less of a benefit.
If you do an erase and install, yes, you can use your restore DVDs, and you can reinstall applications that came with the Mac that Leopard does not have, i.e. iLife applications.
