I am a proud new owner of a Macbook Pro.

I really like it a lot. I how fast it is! Everything runs quick and easy with no problems.

I am thinking of putting windows on my MBP via VMWare or maybe just BootCamp on Leopard.

My concern is that my performance on the Mac side will suffer after running Windows a while. I have a 1 1/2 year old HP Desktop. The thing worked decent at first but now is bogged down and runs very slowly.

Any comments concerning this are welcome! What have been your experiences with Windows on the Mac (either XP or Vista). I would likely put XP on mine if I do it at all. I have the Desktop with XP, so I may not corrupt my innocent MBP!

Thanks,

Matt

I ran XP Pro on a 1.83GHz MacBook alongside Tiger and saw no slowdown on the Mac end of things at all.

No problems at all.

And un-installing Windows is a breeze, too...if you decide that there is a problem. Takes less than a minute.

You're going to be shocked at how smoothly Windows runs.
