Exporting MP3s and Photos from Photo Library?

I might do a clean install of Leopard and am wondering if theres a way I can export all my playlists/mp3s etc and photos to my external harddrive?

Are the export facilities in the File menu in iTunes and iPhoto not what you want?
 
Well its not because I tried exporting my photos but it doesn't work? I just want to back up all my photos from iphoto
