Yes, I know.

I was thinking about getting a new iMac or some other spiffy hardware - since my Dual 800 G4 may or may not make the "cut list" for 10.5.

Since it is unlikely I can run 10.5, I'll need to upgrade. Since there's no discount, now there's no rush.
