I just bought Leopard and am trying to install it on my MBP which has a broken screen, but when I restart and the Leopard installer starts the dialog box does not show up on my external display. I have to assume the the installer is putting the external monitor on span mode instead of mirror mode so the install dialog box is stuck on the broken main display and I cannot remedy this by pushing F7 probably due to the fact the the installer is not enabling all OS functions. Any help at all? Thanks.

attach an external keyboard, put it in sleep mode and wake up with the lid closed.

I have tried this and it doesn't work. But it may be the fact that my keyboard is blutooth and not usb...
