Apple seem to be pushing the speed angle heavily (In the UK at least) I saw the G5 advert on TV the other night and the URL at the end was http://www.apple.com/uk/g5 when this is clicked it takes you straight to the G5 chip spec page. (I tried it without the /uk and it goes straight to the G5 'homepage'). http://www.apple.com/g5

maybe Apple think ya average Joe needs to see bar graphs, obvioulsy the Pentiums still have a higher 'Mhz rating' but aren't as fast as the G5 2Mhz chip. (or am I wrong)

maybe its just a glitch!

For the UK site, it's the (missing) slash at the end, that makes the difference...

huh?

www.apple.com/g5 goes straight to www.apple.com/powermac/, and www.apple.com/uk/g5 goes straight to www.apple.com/uk/g5processor/

When the ad first came out in the US, www.apple.com/g5 went to the processor page too. At some point they changed it to /powermac instead.

Looks like here in the UK, they are still pointing to the processor page... no idea why...?
