Mouse Issue and Installing Ilife

I did a clean install of leopard and now I have two issues.
1)My mighty mouse wont let me "double click" to open a program or file
2)How do I install ilife from my MBP cds?

No idea why your mighty mouse is acting up. Installing iLife is simple enough - just insert the first disc, click Install Bundled Software Only, select what you want to install, and wait while it installs.

Can anyone help with the mouse issue? this is really annoying that its not letting me double click to open files
