Resize Finder Window on Leopard

For some reason whenever open the Mac drive from the desktop the window is larger than 2 screens. I cannot go to the bottom right corner to change the size of the window. Is there a shortcut key or some way of resetting it to the default?

Edit: Never mind. I fixed it. It bothered me all day and now I get it fixed just moments after posting a message.
 
You can manually move the window, albeit slowly, until you get the resizing corner, then resize it, and then change the View or something to force the .DS_store file to update itself.

Or you can use the Terminal to delete the hidden .DS_store file and return the window to its default factory state.

(I'm pretty sure it's the .DS_store file, but could be wrong; nonetheless, deleting it won't hurt your system.)
