Problem setting up external Hard Drive

I just bought a 320Gb WD SATA HDD and an external hard drive case.

I've set up the 2 together correctly (in so far as i can see), but the finder won't recognise them. The disk utility opens up recognising it, but not the finder😕

Any help would be much appreciated as I have leopard waiting😛

It's alright, I found it...

You partition the hard drive in disk utility with 1 partition

Hmm, I've got my USB 320GB WD My Book partitioned and it shows up as two drives. I suppose it's different with SATA?

I know what you mean...it really confused me, which is why I asked here...but then I just tried it and it worked🙂
