since i have upgraded to leopard i can mount my shares via the finder and going to Go & Connect to Server it mounts the drive as i can see them under the new section in the finder user shared but before i tiger they use to mount an cube like icon with a blue globe on the desktop and this doesnt seem to happen any more. Does anyone know if apple has got rid of this in leopard or do i need to tweak a setting via the terminal.

Finder -> Prefs -> General
Tick the box next to 'Connected Servers' under the 'Show these items on desktop' title.
