I'm sorry, but I don't think that too many people are going to be interested in this on a Mac forum...

But arn, it is against the forum rules, isn't it

Warez/Serials/Keys. Do not post software serial numbers or keys or refer people to specific websites or software whose purpose is to break or bypass software licensing methods, distribute cracks, or obtain or use commercial software or media in violation of its license and/or for copyright violation. Do not ask for or give such help.

Hmm... I guess it does hint at licenses.

This question/issue came up with the iPhone software hacking and SIM hacking and we decided that we would allow that discussion to go forward as EULAs are between you and the product manufacturer, and it's not our job to police everyone's EULA.

Breaking copyright, however, is against the law, and something we can't be a part of.

The use of Mac OS X on a PC probably flirts more-so with the legal line, as much of it tends to go hand in hand with piracy of Mac OS X. I guess the bottom line is I don't see a problem with this particular link as a discussion piece.

Most interesting that it is so easy.

That makes me think Apple may have some other ideas down the road...

BTW, according to the current EULA, it is illegal to do this.

The linked article doesn't provide any sources for the required patches, so in and of itself it is not "enabling". Just MHO.

Considering the article in the OP specifically points to a notorious Canadian-based torrent site as the source of Leopard, I think we can fairly say piracy is involved.

It does.

ok, with the pirate link. We'll say it does cross that line.

It does.
You're right, I double checked. They put the links at the end where I had already lost interest...
