Dashboard/widgets wont work

Everything seemed to be going smoothly with my Leopard install. Dashboard was working fine up until about an hour ago. Now if I try to add a new widget, it just goes straight back to the regular desktop. Any ideas?

Hmm, Dashboard works fine in a guest account.


EDIT

Fixed this by repairing permissions

repaired permissions did nothing for me. Still broken here. Going to check other accounts on this mac and see if it is just me.😕
