Backup Application?

I have my touch set the way I like it. Is there any application out there that will let me back up all setting and such onto a file.

So later if anything would happen I would be able to restore, re-jailbreak and install the program and upload all of my things?

SSH into your iPod and copy the Application and root folders.

By root, you're referring to /private/var/root/ and its sub dirs? Or are there additional places where settings are saved?

And anyone out there transplanted settings/songs from one ipt to another?
