I did an "Erase and Install" for Leopard and now I can't install Civ IV on my wonderful Mactel iMac. Is anyone else having problems here?

When you say "I can't install," can you be more specific?

Wow. I did not think that the game could become any more buggy than it already was.
I just love this game even tough it has more bug than any game I ever played…*combined ^_^ At least it never crashed on me and gameplay is unaffected. I've very sorry to hear it might not run on Leopard.
Has anybody been able to install it in Leopard? (I guess I could try it myself)
The bugs I have experienced (Tiger):
- Videos won't play
- Globe view is patterned with picture of a ruler making it unreadable.
- After a while speakers make a big noise then only parasite can be heard.
- Once in a while, all units appear only as black silhouettes. (Full Zoom out/in fixes it temporarily)

You should consider visiting Aspyr and downloading the latest patch(es).
