Taking stills from digital camera footage.

hi guys doing a project and i need to take stills from some footage i filmed on my digital camera i plan on taking a still, every minute,

i using a mac doe anyone know what software i could use to do so i got imovie HD and quicktime viewer,

any help or info would be great thanks people, :)

Not sure if you can do that in iMovie, but you definitely can in Final Cut Xpress.

You can do it in QT Pro, FCE, FCP, Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and several other programs that I'm probably not aware of.
