How to eliminate stacks in leopard dock

It's easy.

1. Take any folder
2. Make an alias
3. Drag the alias onto the dock

When you click on the icon in the dock, it should take you straight to the folder.
 
At least on mine, command click takes me to the location of the folder. An alias takes you to the contents of the folder.
