When I open up my Macbook Pro, the screen just stays dark and I have to manually restart it...Here's the log

Tell me this, is the screen not working, as well as the chime not sounding, but you can here the machine working inside?
 
It's only when I wake from sleep, sorry about that. When I close the screen of the Macbook Pro and open it later, the screen stays black. I'm 90% sure the sound of the CD-ROM still occurs
 
Looks like its a problem with a USB connection. What USB devices do you have plugged in? Can´t think of a reason why it wouldn't allow your screen to turn on though.
Also, on my MBP when I open my screen from sleep, I almost always have to press the keyboard to wake it and get the screen to turn on - the mouse won't do it.
 
I have the new wired Mac keyboards with my printer cord and mouse RF receiver plugged in that.

Odd...
 
Try turning off Time Machine and see if you still get a Kernel Panic. I got 3 Kernel Panics on the same day. I turned off Time Machine and haven't gotten a panic since. So either turn off Time Machine or eject the external HDD that Time Machine is using for backup before putting your computer to sleep and see if it helps. Hope it does.
