When my iMac 24" comes off of sleep mode I get a blue screen and have to hold the power button down and reboot. Anyone know what could possibly cause this and what the fix is.

I am thinking I may just do a fresh install on my iMac. If I have moved all of my music, movies, pics, and documents onto an external HD, when I copy them back onto the computer will all my events still be there or do I have to reorganize all of the pics all over again?
