See title. Ever since installing Leopard I am not hearing the trademark sound when I turn on my MBP.
What do I do?

There are people on this forum who would trade in their limbs to have that happen to them ;)

I am not sure about a limb but I would love to get rid of that sound! It startles me everytime!

My volume is up as far as I know, and yes, I've got an XP partition.
I'm new to Macs; I'm still at the "now that's a pretty noise!" stage.

I want it to change from a start-up sound to an all-systems-go sound. Give me a whuummmm when the finder is complete, all startup apps are fully loaded, the wifi network is running, yadda, yadda.
Peace
