None of my drives show up on the desktop

None of my drives, whether it be my hard drive or ipod or any mounted disk image show up on my desktop. A while back, I changed the settings so my hard drives didn't show up within the finder preferences. I recently changed it back after installing Leopard, but the drives don't show up now. Additionally, I can no longer right click the desktop. Not sure what caused it, I did install tinker tools a while back and fool around with some settings, but I don't think that would cause it.
