Hi all,
Last night, overnight, I booted my 800MHz G4 iMac as a firewire target and installed OS 10.5 into it from my 867MHz G4 PowerBook.
This morning it appears to have installed with no problems.
The big BUT is that I can't get the airport to turn on, on the unsupported iMac. To be honest, I only spent about 5 minutes looking at the iMac as I had to get to work, but trying to start the service got no response. I didn't have a chance to look at any log files unfortunately.
Can anyone who has installed 10.5 on the same spec machine confirm, or otherwise, that this is a problem?
Oh, BTW, the OS runs smoothly with no problems at all ... apart from airport!
